Whambang-est Giveaway - Day #2

Domesticity.  Just saying the word makes you want to find a comfy chair and contemplate your cup of tea, while having a nice long chat with your great-grandmother about pickling.  There is a lot involved in domesticity.  It's hard work - and endless work - but fulfilling on so many levels.  A clean house; fresh laundry - folded and put away; healthy, delicious meals; spending time with your children (or dogs), tracking their days; the ups and downs of families.  It's good stuff.

Topic for today's comment:  What is your favorite domestic task?  Ironing?  Laundry?  Cleaning your oven?  None of the above?  (I would fall into the latter category, although ironing is rather Zen and I do love to hang my laundry outside on the line.)  Remember - cut off for entry is midnight tonight!

    Congrats to LindaCO! My most favorite form of domestic tasks consist of making FOOD! Can't you tell from my supple backside?
    But don't include me in the drawing today, I'm holding out for the other ones! :)

    My favorite task is cooking/baking, but I also really enjoy splitting wood. It gets me outside, fresh air, and it's good exercise.

    My favorite task would be decorating/organizing! Yes, I'm going to classify that as housework, since I'm not that fond of the daily drudgery LOL!

    I try to avoid my domestic duties with a vengenance but they keep coming at me. I am a "Would rather be....." person. Cooking for my family is the one thing I really enjoy doing ☺

    I'm going to hold out for other books as well. This one looks too "Martha Stewart" to fit my life, which is on the "spare but dusty" side. ;-)

      Michelle - I can relate to the 'dusty' side, but am still working on the 'spare'. Life will be so much nicer when I tackle that.

    Domestic hu? I never really considered myself that. A farmer/wife/mom is really what I would call myself. But if I had to say the word again, I would say cooking/baking!
