Giving Thanks.

I am (very) thankful for Fridays - and, perversely, I am thankful for the job that allows me to be thankful for Fridays.

I am thankful that I have such funny, nutty dogs.  I think Scrappy is trying to communicate with me on a different plane.  I keep waiting to hear him tell me what he wants in English - we've tried Dutch, Spanish, and ASL.  We're getting close.  And, yes, I tend to anthropomorphicize everything - it's part of my charm... :)

I am thankful that physical space does not dim the strength of my friendships; in fact, it seems to strengthen them.

I am thankful for baby alpaca yarn.  I just LOVE baby alpaca yarn.  But, no, I am not going to raise baby alpacas or any other alpaca.

I think you could handle a handful or two of baby alpacas. I hear that they can speak Dutch.

You are right about the Friday thing, they aren't as big a deal to me anymore and I MISS that!
P.S. I'm glad there are no alpacas in your future! ;)

Carolyn - I really need to make sure I am not trying to drink a hot beverage when I read your comments...or posts...

Candy - Wanna trade??? Yes, the biggest obstacle between me and alpaca ownership is that I find them boring. Cute, but boring.

Haha alpacas are boring!! I'd stick to buying their wool and blending it with sheep wool. Alpaca wool is stupidly expensive.
I wonder what language my cows speak...

SLF - I admit that I am totally biased toward llamas. It IS crazy, isn't it? Sheep wool is my favorite - if I ever learn to spin, I would blend the two. Cows? I would gues....bovenian...hehehe

I love reading your Friday Giving Thanks posts.
As for languages animals speak, hmmmm.......I think mine don't speak any language, the only thing I hear my dog say is OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Especially when you want him to move his big butt over in bed. He growls with a tone that sounds as if he's saying nooooooooooooo.....noooooooooooooooooooo.....nooooooo. I will have to record it one night and post it on my blog.

Sandy - That would be so much fun to hear! Scrappy mutters under his breath ... no good ignorant person tells me to go sit down and I'm starving in front of her... I'd hate to think of what he'd say if he slept in the bed!
