I had to say goodbye to my sweet girl this morning. When she left us, she took a large portion of my heart. I'm going to take a hiatus from blogging for a bit. See you soon.
i am soooo sorry to hear this. when my first chow died, i was hopeless. then we got teddy and she healed my heart. now teddy is almost 9 and i worry about her all the time. take time to heal. it is so tough.
Oh, dear Susan! They never live long enough, do they? Those of us who take the four-footed creatures into our homes and hearts feel your pain and sadness with you. I hope you can feel all the hugs being sent your way.
Oh no! What happened? I'm so sorry for your loss. It's SO hard to lose our furry family members! We lost our dear cat, Duchess, four days before Christmas last year. It was devastating. I feel for you. Take all the time you need. Big hugs! :-(
I lost my 'sweet girl' last year and she was the one always introduced as one of my 'daughters', just furrier than the other 2. It is hard and sad. Sending my sympathies to you.
She looks like such a sweet girl; please accept my condolences; losing a beloved friend is never easy. My Sophie died a couple of weeks ago but I'm sure to meet up with her, and Dave, when I get to heaven. As well, all my other beloved critters, beasts, varmints and family.
Time does heal the heart and while they take a chunk of our heart when they leave, they also give one when they come into your life. So sorry for your loss. Small comfort I know.
