I have had the good fortune to fall into (not literally, as they have thorns and it would make me cry) about 8 cups of gooseberries! I have never worked with them before, but I would like to make something (or things) with them - jam? jelly? pie?
Do you have any gooseberry advice for me? Recipes? I will invite you all over for dessert!

Gooseberry jam would be the sensible thing to do. For sheer delight go for gooseberry fool. I'll post the recipe on my website.
i love to eat gooseberries right off the bush. gooseberry jam is good too.
I have no advice or suggestions to give you as I don't think I've ever even tasted a gooseberry. But I'll be waiting with bated (gooseberry) breath to see what you come up with!
I've never worked with gooseberries, but I bet jam, or pie would be good.
My parents used to make gooseberry wine.......not that I ever tasted it!
