Hate greasy pots and pans?

You need a Weeno-Rooter.  I ran across a great deal on chicken thighs and pressure-canned 24 qts of chicken and broth for the dogs.  There is nothing I hate more than to have to deal with grease up to my shoulder when I wash my largest stock pot.  Ergo - the Weeno-Rooter.  Or, Pepper Pot Licker.  I may just rent him out.

He rotated the pot as he cleaned.  He's very efficient.

Well, his system should be well oiled now. And I'll bet the pads on his front feet are very smooooth!

But then you have to wash a greasy weenie. I think I'd rather scrub the pot....

I bet he has the shiniest coat! Remember when you got to lick the bow from your mother's baking? Of course that is taboo now with the modern food system and fears of e-coli etc but this just reminded me of that....the anticipation and tail wagging beforehand!

How does your Wenno-Rooter feel about spaghetti sauce? Just let me know the hourly rate & I'll be 1st on your list of customers.

Susan,

It's going to be so clean and shiny when he's done, lol......
I just wonder if the grease will cause him to well you know......

Mama Pea - Yes, he's quite a smooth operator. I draw the line at plates, etc., but boy do I hate those greasy pans!

Michelle - Believe it or not, he wasn't greasy! Of course, the cats were giving his face a good cleaning, later in the day.

1st Man - He is quite a character. The bottomless pit...

Fiona - He does! He has a beautiful coat. I remember that very fondly - we used to take turns. Oh, yes. Heaven forbid there might be GERMS on the spoon!

Ellen - He works for food! I have put you at the top of the list. I imagine he would love spaghetti sauce...

Nancy - Nope. I make sure there isn't much left so they don't overdo it.

Mrs DM - A large pot is better than a rawhide chew. It will keep him busy for an hour!

Sandy - I almost don't have to wash it! Well, almost. So far, nothing has affected his system. I don't have greasy pots very often, so I'm not too worried about it.

I was such a trial to my lovely but Martha Stewart like mother in law. She practically fainted when she saw my furry pot licker at work.

Susan - Yes, I do not do this in front of people. I wouldn't have even posted it, but my posts have been seriously lagging and it was a cute picture. Of course, I am sure there is a lot of head shaking, and tut-tut-ing going on out there.

Pepper can come lick my pots any day! (that sounds almost crude, doesn't it???)

Carolyn said...

Oh, and btw, up until we lost Moonshine, she was the official pot licker around here. Charlie can't be trusted with any good dishes, so he's outt'a luck.

Susan said...

Carolyn - LOL! And he would be more than happy to oblige...

Carolyn - I let Scrappy and Lovey start the process when the stockpot is standing. Then put it on its side and let Pepper finish the job. He is very, very thorough.
