Here’s my list for Sunday:
(Not in any particular order)
Make lunar rhubarb cake
Make granola
Wash dogs
Clean out cooler
Clean off deck
Visit parents
Knit
Two grocery stores
Home Depot
Goodwill
Tractor supply
Laundry
Clean bathrooms
Block sweater
Summerize closet/wardrobe
Clean winter shoes and put away
Clean guest room
Here’s the deal: the person who is closest to guessing what I actually get done, will win a surprise something! Of course, you’ll have to trust me and you do trust me, don’t you? All will be revealed on Tuesday, so put on your thinking caps!
( my apologies if this turns out wonky. I’m posting from my phone.)

either your days have more hours in them than mine do, you never sleep, or you're on speed but whatever, I'm not making any guesses or bets.
I'll guess rhubarb cake and a visit to the parents.
I didn't get any rhubarb this year. I went down to pick mom's rhubarb but there was only a couple stalks less than six inches tall. I kind of remember mom saying something about the rhubarb the spring before she died but can't remember what. I'm thinking I may have to just plant some more of it because I really enjoy it.
Okay, I'll play. I'm going to say that you (otherwise known as the Whirling Dervish) will accomplish everything on your list except blocking the sweater and washing the dogs.
Here's what I would get done: cake, granola, visit, knit. The rest is on you.
Hmm. How stinky are your dogs? I'll guess laundry, visit parents, and because you'll be out, grocery stores, Home Depot, Goodwill,
and Tractor Supply. You'll also get some knitting in there somewhere!
I agree with ellen but I'll venture a guess (knowing you'll get a lot more done than I could!):
Make lunar rhubarb cake - check
Make granola - check
Wash dogs
Clean out cooler - check
Clean off deck
Visit parents - check
Knit - a bit in the early morning as before you drop in bed
Two grocery stores -check
Home Depot
Goodwill
Tractor supply check
Laundry - check
Clean bathrooms
Block sweater
Summerize closet/wardrobe
Clean winter shoes and put away
Clean guest room - started
I am with Leigh. If not so stinky that they can’t sleep on bed they can wait another week. Mine do why should you be different?
With Michelle on the no sweater blocking. Unless it is a seasonal sweater and is the season of summer no hurry so can be back burnered. Knitting will get done while visiting.
Potentially all stores could get visited while out dependent on the urgency of what is on the list for each one.
Why do winter shoes need to be cleaned prior to storing? Toss in closet and let set. May improve patina.
Sumerize wardrobe. Toss that none sense I say mix and match. Who knows you may start a new trend? Nothing like a pair of Berks with some linen capris and a tastefully hand knit Angora sweater.
Anything to with food done. Reasons oh no I want to maintain our friendship.
Clean bathrooms and guest rooms. Oh heck no! Bathrooms are easy spit and polish. Why clean a perfectly good guest room? It will only get dirtier while the guest is there.
Let me know if I win I could use a uplifting moment.
I'm going to be pessimistic and guess something not on your list derails you and only 6 items get done. Crossing my fingers it could be something nice, but unexpected.
I bet you get all of it done. Maybe minus one, but I could be wrong.
If this was my list - the only things I would get done would be "knit." So that is going to be my guess.
Remember, this is the weekend. One day of the week should be all yours. Knit!!
Fun! Considering how much I know you Susan, that you are a MACHINE, my original guess was that you did everything on this list...but I'll try to be realistic...you did all EXCEPT:
- summerize closet/wardrobe
- clean winter shoes and put away
- clean guest room
I say you will knit and drink martinis all dayyyy lonnggg! And if you don't I will....
