Middle-aged homesteader meets reality.
I'm sorry you've lost a friend, Susan, but it is hard to begrudge them an end to their suffering.
Sorry to hear, Susan. She was lucky to have had friends like you in her life, you are in my thoughts.
Oh, Susan, I am so, so sorry to hear of you losing your friend Els. What a beautiful memory you have of her in your window covering she made for you. I know you'll treasure it and memories of her always. Hugs to you, my friend.
So very very sorry Susan. My thought are with you.
So sorry for you loss my friend. Big hug for you and her loved ones.xoxoxo
I have not come to that point yet and I'm not sure how close my husband is but just hearing you say it that way, makes me less afraid for when my husbands time comes. The Dr just told us he has pancreatic cancer. I'm not sure if they will do anything for him because he has so many ailments. Thank you for a good thought of him being somewhere better and out of pain, although I am the one who will be so lonely without him.
So sorry to hear about your friend. Sounds like she was a pretty special lady.
I am very sorry for your loss. But as you said, she is off to better things. Keep her close to your heart...
Thank you all for your kind, lovely thoughts. I will have to say that I have nothing but good memories to remind me of her, and she had many friends who loved her to pieces. We are all so happy that she was in our lives - just not long enough.
