For FRUSTRATING - as in how my car insinuated itself between me and having a fun Saturday Road Trip.
For FUN - as in how Mother's Day was spent with doeling snoogling, good food, good conversation and was an all-around good time.
For FRIGID - as in the weather.
For FECKLESS - which is what I was last night (lacking in vitality) because of
FATE - which is FICKLE.
I am not an F. I'm an E. As in Ellie. |
The other "Fs" of my weekend: FRISKY, FOSTERING, FILLING. The rescue group for which I volunteer had an emergency. They said she was two. I say that, if she's two, I'm 20. Of course, I'd gladly lose that bet! We are adjusting and finding we have enough love to spread around. I mean, as my friend Rosie would say, if the Universe comes and knocks on the door of your heart, how can you NOT open it?
Things are FROLLICKING at LLF!

She's precious. I can see how you absolutely couldn't say no to her.
DFW - Yes, she is. I am hoping that the perfect family will feel the same way and adopt her forever. But, I'm glad to provide a loving foster home for as long as she needs.
1) I will give you an F if that is what you really want
2) I did not know you volunteer for a rescue
3) For that you deserve an A+
Michelle - I had filled out a foster application some time ago, then forgot about it. Ellie was adopted, then un-adopted within a week and a half. She's been a little traumatized and wants nothing more than a person. Let's hope the next adopter truly loves her and provides her with love and security.
Poor little Ellie, what a FACE!! I'm glad you are being her FRIEND and FOSTER mom until she can FIND a FOREVER home! :)
F for California is Fried ....... I hope you enjoy your cool weather ..... or send it to me ..... last 3 days, 101, 104, 104 and so bone dry. Ellie looks like she is looking for someone to love her.
I think you deserve an A+ for your FABULOUSNESS!
Candy - That face is adorable, let me tell you. All that soft, dew-lappy skin :)
TL - Man, oh, man. You are really in a hot place! It would be nice to have something in the middle ground - we are under another freeze warning tonight. I sure hope it's the last one.
Judy T - Is that a word??? :) I think she might already have an adoptive family interested. I gave her a glowing report, which she so deserves.
Pictures of or stories about animals needing forever homes just tear me to pieces. I know Ellie will get boat loads of love as long as she's with you. I agree totally with Judy T . . . you are FABULOUS to open your already busy, full of loved animals home to these needy ones. Give her a big hug and belly scratch from me, please. Sending big hugs to you for being such a loving, caring person.
