My new BFF. |
Enter the OXO salad dressing shaker! I did my research and read the reviews. The design made sense to me and it has the added benefit of measuring marks on the vessel. I whipped up a batch of my new favorite Italian Vinaigrette and .... no spills!
Apparently, the only drawback is that thick dressings - like Ranch - tend to clog up the pouring apparatus. Since I am presently on a very limited detox diet, Ranch dressing is not on the menu and, ergo, not a problem. I ended up buying two, since I like to mix it up with my dressings (isn't my life fascinating????) If anyone is looking for a salad dressing shaker, I would highly recommend it.

I have exactly the same problems with any "oily" dressing in my Mason jars. This thingie sounds like it might be just the solution.
P.S. Where can I get a daily salad lunch like you have on your desk there?
I hate that mess! How does this dispense? Like a steady stream? Asking because I've got a constant ring around the jar of fire cider on my counter. (I take a medicine measure cupful/day) Maybe this would solve that.
Mama Pea - It's one of my "what's in the fridge that I can eat?" salads. This one was romaine, spring mix, diced zukes, diced cukes, a little diced onion, diced radish, and cubes of roast beef.
HG - That green stem-looking part on the top, swivels back and you pour the dressing over the spout. Then you flip it back and it locks in place. Neato! I have not had one drip off the spout, either.
Good find and thanks for sharing it with us!
This should be good.
I always liked vessels with measuring marks.
Laurie - Any time!
Haddock - That makes two of us!
Susan,
Salad looks delish!!!! Thanks for the information on the OXO Salad Dressing Bottle. I love OXO products, the handles are great for people who have arthritis.
