It is lovely....I think of all the tires I have changes on trucks and stock trailers over the years...I have to admit a lot of them were in really pretty country!
Fiona - I have changed my share of tires on multiple vehicles, too. However, this baby was on a steep incline and there was no way to do it safely. Thank goodness for farmers within walking distance.
Michelle - I have always thought about taking a picture from there, but it's not safe to park your car (!!!) At least I can say I did it. It is very lovely around me - lots of hills and small mountains.
Wow. You have got bad luck by the tail. It's just got to turn around for you soon. It's nice you are looking on the bright side, if there is such a thing.
Statistically speaking, your recent streak of misfortunes should mean you are do for some good luck to come into your life now. Not that it will improve your mood, but you do live in a beautiful setting. Thank goodness the road was cleared of snow so you did nottake a long slide to the bottom of the hill as you were dragging your sorry buns back to the house.. There is never a good time for a tire to blow, but it would have been a lot easier if the tire had gone flat while sitting in your driveway. I certainly hope the rest of your weekend is without any more unexpected troubles. You have had more than your fair share lately.
You're pretty lucky on the tire blowing out......it could have been worse. Take a deep breath and remember this too will pass (the problem). Sending hugs!!!

Goodness gracious, you have had a time lately! Pretty view, though.

Well, at least it wasn't on ice in a snowstorm. (That didn't help at all, did it?)
Sorry for the circumstances, but I enjoyed seeing a glimpse of your home territory!
well that sucks, but at least you have a lovely view. We've got a similar amount of snow here in Southern Ontario.
It's Friday - when you get home drink wine! All will feel better - for awhile... So sorry about your tire!
Laurie - I am hoping that this was the last of the "Three Bads". It is pretty, isn't it?

Mama Pea - One of my thoughts as I minced down the slope. If it had happened tomorrow, I would have been sodden.

Gill - I was very happy that most of the ice and snow had melted off the road - otherwise, I would not have been going down the mountain on my feet...
2T - You better believe it! At least the tire was totally covered, as it was less than a week old. Which now has me worrying about the other three...
maybe you should change your name to calamity jane?

Oh dear. That really sucks. But your view is nice! :)
That sucks. Hope the walk wasn't to long or cold.
Oh brother :(
Oh, dear. Hope you go it fixed without a lot of trouble. Thankfully the snow is gone from your road. Hang in there.

Let's see. One day you write you need more cardiovascular exercise and the next day your tire blows out!
Susan,
