Fiona are you saying Lovey is f-a-t? My vet always was gentle "your goats are over conditioned". Nuff said.
Sounds like Lilly next door. Adopted by my son/family.... She had so many fears... Discovered along the way... She was totally afraid of my husband... Some older man must have abused her. But with treats, and quiet, she accepted him.
Another thing was hats!!!! A man in a baseball hat, scared her. So both grandfathers had to remove their baseball hats. :-)
Poor things.... -sigh-
I can imagine you getting dog-piled as soon as you sit down. :)

In their tussling, looks to me like Lovey is the lover and Peanut is the fighter. Loved when Peanut jumped right on top of Lovey.
Let's leave the talking about being "well-conditioned" or "fluffy" to our animals, okay? No need to discuss our own . . . um, uh, robustness! ;o) (Speaking for myself, of course.)
