They always were a close family. Right to the end. My mother, Kit (Kathryn), her sister, Josie (Joan) and brother Jim all passed away within the last three months. Mom went first - probably because she was oldest and always first - Josie went early last week and my uncle Jim passed away a few days later. It has been a sobering time.

Oh, deal girl. What a load to deal with. I'm so sorry you've lost your loved ones. May you and your family find the strength to carry on.
Yes, truly the end of an era. I so remember the feeling of such loss when the last of my wonderful aunts and uncles (I grew up in a huge, close, extended family) passed away. Sending condolences to you especially, and of course, your sisters. Hugs.
I think it is wonderful when siblings are close. A sad loss for your family but there is something comforting about them passing on together.
Oh, I'm sorry. It IS remarkable that they all died so close together in time. What a huge change for your family!
My condolences on your losses.
that's sort of like what happened to my family though they were all very young. it's never easy no matter how old they are. hugs!
My condolences, Susan. That's a lot of hard losses in only 3 months. It's especially sad when an entire generation has passed.
Wow. Hard enough to lose one but all three in so short a time. My condolences.
Wow, they decided to close that era decisively quick, didn't they! What a shock that must be to your systems; how hard it must be to cope with so much loss so fast.
Susan, So sad for your loss. My Mom was the last to go ,,, 7 other brothers & sisters before her. It truly is the end of an era when all are gone. Beautiful siblings. Thoughts & prayers headed your way.
I am so sorry, and I do know how it is. All our "older generation", from both sides of the family, left over and 18 month period. My mother and her brother went in a six month period.
Those three make a lovely picture. I am so sorry.
I am so very very sorry for your loss. Today was my mother's 99th birthday if she had been still alive. She passed away in her 60s. It's always hard losing your parents no matter how old you are and then your other relatives as well.
It looks like your mother was in the navy? Mine was too as well as my dad. My mother always loved her Navy years during World War II. She was a yeoman in Maryland back east and it was the first time she got a chance to travel outside of Nebraska. She really had a blast
It’s hard and I’m sorry for your loss. My mom, the youngest of eight, passed away last November. She was 95 and the last of her generation.
Oh, Susan... {{{hug}}}
I am not so familiar with you or your family, however, please accept my condolences to you and your family at this tremendous loss.
Hugs from Colorado! ❤️
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
I am so sorry. That is a whole lotta change in a very short period of time.
Condolences to you and your sisters! You were very blessed to have such a tight family, and it is extremely difficult to recover from such loss. Just rely on those forever memories, to aid in your sorrow. Hugs from the ridge!
Susan, I am so very sorry for your losses. To see an entire generation gone in such a short time is tough.
I'm so sorry for all your losses. What a handsome family they were. You didn't really get a breath in-between tragedies. It's very hard to lose your loved ones but maybe that's why we have memories so they will not be forgotten. Bless you and your sisters.
That’s too much death for any family to cope with. So sorry!
Are you doing okay?
Unbelievable. My heart goes out to you.
Is your blog over too? Please, noooooo
Is your blog gone forever? 😥
Yes my mom died within 30 days of her brother. It was a sobering Christmas for us in 2014 when that happened.
