Call the Packaging Police!

What were they thinking?
I mean, really?  They could not, say, find a box the size of a shoe box?  They couldn't put it in a padded envelope?  This is so crazy.

LOL!
Cripes--I thought I had a bad one but that really takes the prize.
Lunacy, isn't it?

We've had that happen so many times . . . and it just makes me mad! Sometimes I wonder if it's because you are required to pay the "standard" postage, the company thinks you'll be fooled by the larger-than-necessary packaging. I once placed a phone orde for a single packet of seeds I needed and the minimum shipping charge was something like $7.95. I asked if she couldn't just put the seed packet in an envelope with a first class stamp on it. Nope, she wasn't able to do that. I didn't get the seeds.

There must have been a half-mile of bubble wrap in with this. I can't even fathom...

Mama Pea - That is the reason I don't shop with some companies. There is no reason a single packet of seeds requires $8 in 'handling'. Drives me crazy.

I see this all the time at the office I work at. We get deliveries of very small things in very large packages. Stupid!

Is it so the little packages don't get lost amongst the bigger packets!

This must be why shipping and handling fees are so exorbitant.
