Saying Good-bye to a Most Excellent Sheep.

Juno as a babe front left.

Sheepie love.

Good n' Plenty

Dr. D and I (and Linden, Norman and Apria) were with Juno as she moved on to her Next Big Adventure today.  It's always so difficult to say good-bye.  Especially to such a very excellent sheep.

Yes, it's hard to say good-bye to any lovely animal. I'm sending a hug, Susan.

I'm so, so sorry, Susan. You did everything possible . . . including holding her at the end. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever. Sharing your tears.

Michelle, thank you for those lovely words. Sometimes I do wish that love was enough to save anything.

Same here, Mama Pea.

Jaz, it sure helped going into the house to be joyfully greeted by my three dogs. Even Slimbo was head-bumping me.

Hugs back at you.

LHB, Juno was the sweetest sheep ever. She had her mother's personality.

Hoosier Girl, I hope I did. She sure made it easy.

DFW, I am now down to the boys. At least Linden has his grandmother's sweetness.

Poo. Animals, they get you, right there. Sounds like Juno had the best Mama.
