Some girls might like flowers....

I prefer Pak Choi.

My dinner guest last Sunday night arrived with:  This amazing Pak Choi, a large bunch of scallions, Mutsu apples, Russet potatoes, summer squash (!!), and his guitar.  All from his garden (except for the guitar, of course).  I am still in awe of this Pak Choi.

On Saturday, as I was filling my gas tank in Vermont (10 cents a gallon cheaper), I happened to look across the street ---- and saw this amazing little house!  If you bigify the picture, you will notice that the house was built around a travel trailer!  Also note that their garage in the background is twice as big as their house.  A common site in this part of the world.

I thought that was just a Michigan trait--we have so many houses built around trailers. I wonder if there is a tax benefit to that? We also specialize in Blue Tarp Roofs.

So, did you get serenaded? Getting serious??
Anyone that gardens and grows beautiful veggies like that deserves SERIOUS consideration.........
Just saying.

Susan,

It sounds like your male guest is worth another date :-)

We have lots of trailer add-ons around here also. It makes me think of those hamster habitrails, all those different pieces connected together. The hamsters seemed to like them though, so why not (some) people I suppose?

Oh, and is this gentleman the one we weren't supposed to get all riled up about? The, "oh, it's just a friend". You know, the fungi-guy?

Our first place up here was a trailer we added on to. I hated it for so many reasons. But sometimes you just do what you have to do and can afford. Glad those days are over.

This vegetable gifting guy sounds better and better all the time. The guitar is a nice addition, too!

And our first home on Boulderneigh was an old double-wide with an attached garage/apartment; ha!

I get it now. The true test of this guy's worthiness is whether or not he pitches in and helps you finish that living room floor. ;-)

Good idea!! I agree.
C'mon Susan---what do you think?????

Sue - We have blue tarp roofs, too! And Tvek siding...
Yes, there was singing involved, but nothing serious so far. He's nice.

TL - I'll be thrilled if he ends up a friend.

Sandy - That is for sure. Although, the ball's in his court this round.

Carolyn - I liked the way they kept the color scheme going, and didn't totally hide the original trailer. It IS the fungi-guy! You can go ahead and get riled up, but I'm in wait-and-see mode. :)

Mama Pea - I think sometimes it's important just to have a reliable roof over your head. I think my claustrophobia would kick in, if I was relegated to a small space - although I am a fan of Tiny Houses. Go figure. Yep - he has definite possibilities.

Michelle - I get the impression that he is worse than I am on finishing home repair projects - I think I should just kick myself in the tush and go finish it!

I'm glad to see "adding on" to trailers isn't just an Arizona phenomenon! LOL!!
Hmmm...a fella who comes bearing vegetables is definitely one to consider! :)

We have the same design rules here. I like it when they put so many additions on they start to look like spiders.

You know, I planted pak choy but haven't been entirely certain of what to do with it! I need to get on the ball.

Lots of trailers and tarp roofs here too.
