99%

Yes, I am definitely part of "The" 99%, but this post is about a WIP that is almost, so tantalizingly close to being finished, that I decided to post it as finished.  Almost.

All that needs doing is to wash and block it - which I am hoping to do this weekend, as we are forecast for rain again.  I am pleased with it, although it's far from perfect.  But it is my first large project other than a poncho.  And just think - I can still wear it beause it is endlessly cold and damp.  Isn't that just peachy-keeno?

What a nice sweater! Love the color and sleeve length. And the collar and little bit of design on the front panels. Yeah, what a nice sweater!

We're practically still wearing down garments, let alone sweaters. Have been having terrific winds. Large trees (none on our property so far) coming down because the ground is so saturated. No good weather in sight. Ugh.

Mama Pea - Boy, oh, boy. You are definitely having the longest winter since the Ice Age. That's the fear I have, too, during high winds. My place is surrounded by fir trees, with their shallow, wobbly roots. It's almost May - winter wouldn't DARE hang around in May! Right?

Fantabulous! It is beautiful and the color is sunny and warm! It will be so nice for you to wear it and it should give you a smug sense of satisfaction! It is alright to be smug when you make something!

We are having some warm weather, some rainy weather, some TORNADO weather, and some chilly weather. WTH ??? BUT--the furnace has been off for almost 2 weeks straight, even if it did get a little cool, I refused to turn it back on.

I win.
